It is not a central-heating furnace, must not be connected to air-distribution ductwork, and must not share a venting system serving another appliance. Installation must follow the certification label, the current installation and operation manuals, the pellet-vent instructions, and applicable local requirements. Top-Feed Pellet Combustion The top-feed system delivers pellets from the 60 lb hopper to the burn pot, with a published burn rate of 1.2–4.7 lb/h and a maximum heat input rate of 39,260 BTU/h.
